On the occasion of the launch of the Startup Luxembourg web platform, on Monday 5 July, the 16 startups that graduated from the 10th edition of the acceleration programme were unveiled and received their Fit 4 Start trophies.
Fit 4 Start #10 was definitively a special edition. After being postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis, it was the first fully digital Fit 4 Start programme, all the way from selection to graduation. And for the first time, the graduated startups received not a diploma but a trophy especially designed in the programme's colours.
As Luxinnovation, the national innovation agency that manages the programme, was not able to organise the traditional Pitching & Graduation Day, the graduation took place during the presentation of the new web platform of Startup Luxembourg.
16 graduated startups
16 of the 20 participating startups successfully graduated from the programme. 8 of them were physically present and received their trophies on stage from the hands of Luxinnovation’s CEO Sasha Baillie and President Mario Grotz. The 8 others joined via Zoom.
The 16 graduated companies are:

The event was also an opportunity to look back on the history of the Fit 4 Start programme. A round table discussion with former participants reflected on the main developments that have contributed to the reputation of Fit 4 Start. 11 editions have been organised over a period of 6 years. The programme has received applications from more than 2,000 start-ups, of which 98 have followed the different coaching sessions.
15 startups – 10 in the field of ICT and 5 in space – have been selected for participation in the 11th edition of Luxembourg’s flagship accelerator programme that is just about to start. They were selected among a total of 255 applications received from start-ups in 35 countries.
Highly attractive programme
Launched by the Ministry of the Economy and managed by Luxinnovation in collaboration with Technoport, Luxembourg-City Incubator and Luxembourg Space Agency, the Fit 4 Start programme helps young innovative companies to launch from Luxembourg, transforming innovative ideas and entrepreneurs’ strong will to succeed into companies with a strong growth potential. Initially open only to start-ups in the ICT sector, Fit 4 Start now also targets companies active in health and space technologies.
The 15 start-ups selected at the beginning of June for the 11th edition pitched their solutions in person or online. These 15 start-ups will benefit from six months of specialised support, as well as individual funding of €50,000 from the Ministry of the Economy, with the possibility of receiving an additional €100,000 if they successfully complete the programme and manage to raise private capital.
