D-Day is coming! On 1 July, in the context of ICT Spring 2022, we will discover the names of the start-ups that graduated from the 12th edition of Fit 4 Start, the acceleration programme initiated by the Ministry of the Economy and managed by Luxinnovation, in partnership with Technoport, the Luxembourg-City Incubator and the Luxembourg Space Agency.
At the starting line, there were 20 start-ups that benefited from six months of support and coaching (online and face to face), as well as €50,000 of funding from the Ministry of the Economy each, with the possibility of receiving an additional €100,000 for those who graduate and manage to raise some private capital.
For this 12th edition, an additional category, focused on HPC and data analytics, has been added to the 3 traditional verticals (ICT, healthtech and space). 3 startups among the 20 were selected for this new category. They benefitted from a special programme, including access to the computing and data analytics capacities of the national supercomputer MeluXina.
“The new HPC and data analytics track offers a unique opportunity to benefit from the real added value that we can offer in Luxembourg in terms of technology and expertise in the field of supercomputing. I hope that this will lead to the development of innovative solutions,” explained Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot.
