Yes, but the team must be composed of a minimum of two people. One member of the team must work full time on the project during the entire duration of the programme. This is to ensure that you can both attend the Fit 4 Start related activities (i.e. coaching sessions and steering committee meetings) without neglecting your day-to-day business operations.
Although it is not a requirement to have a minimum viable product (‘MVP’) when applying, start-ups that have already developed one are strongly preferred.
It is not required to have an incorporated company at the application stage – in neither Luxembourg nor elsewhere. It is not an issue if your company is already incorporated elsewhere.
You can submit one application per edition only and it is not possible to be selected for the programme with multiple projects. However, if you are not selected for participation, it is possible to re-apply to another Fit 4 Start edition.
No. The Fit 4 Start programme targets for-profit start-ups/projects.
It is mandatory to be physically present in Luxembourg for the coaching sessions and steering committee meetings. Start-ups that participate in the Fit 4 Start programme can generally choose between the Technoport and Luxembourg-City Incubator. Both incubators are official partners of the programme and offer the possibility to register your start-up on the address of their premises.
The location of the coaching sessions depends on your vertical. While the ICT cohort usually uses the premises of Luxinnovation or Technoport, the HealthTech vertical normally benefits from the facilities of the House of BioHealth or the Luxembourg-City Incubator. The coaching sessions in SpaceTech take place at Technoport. Please note that this indication is preliminary and the final coaching location is subject to individual planning.
The Fit 4 Start programme is a 16-week acceleration programme with monthly coaching sessions & steering committee meetings. While common expert sessions are organised for all Fit 4 Start participants, the individual coaching sessions will be tailored to the specific needs and requirements of your start-up.

You can expect 3 to 4 full days of coaching per month. This includes both expert sessions and individual coaching sessions. Furthermore, you should reserve 1 additional full day per month for steering committee meetings. Please note that this is an indication only and the final amount of time to reserve is subject to individual planning.
Any failure by participants to meet any of the commitments indicated in the “Application and Programme guidelines” will, by decision of Luxinnovation, lead to their exclusion.
Concerned participants will first receive two written warnings by e-mail, before being officially excluded from the programme. The participants will be notified of their exclusion by registered mail.
